Overview
Martvili Canyon is one of Georgia's most photographed natural sites - turquoise water flowing through a narrow limestone gorge. We take the small boat tour into the canyon, then drive to Martvili Monastery on its hilltop above the village. After lunch we visit Nokalakevi - the fortress city that was the capital of the Lazi kingdom in the 4th century BC.
