Khikhani Castle, Mt Tetrobi and Resort Beshumi

Overview

Khikhani Castle is a near-vertical stronghold from the Bagrationi era, perched on a cliff in upper Adjara. We hike up to the castle, then continue to Mount Tetrobi and the Green Lake, cross the Goderdzi pass, and end at Resort Beshumi in the alpine pastures. Two to three days.
